Sally has worked in education for 25 years, starting her career as a KS1 teacher in Manchester back in 1999, but teaching all age groups from Y1-Y6.  She moved to Ash Grove Academy, part of the Aspire Educational Trust, in 2011 as a Y3 teacher before starting life in senior leadership when she was appointed Vice Principal.  She became Head of School in 2022 and is now proud to be the Principal of this Ofsted Outstanding and UNICEF Gold Rights Respecting school.  She is Designated Mental Health Lead and also leads on personal development, behaviour and attitudes, and curriculum development, all of which reflects her passion for ensuring children are happy, safe and learning when in school.  She is grateful for the ongoing support of her fellow Principals and senior leaders, and for being given the opportunity to continue her educational journey within the Aspire Educational Trust.
