Sarah came into education from a previous short career in accountancy where she secretly knew she would end up in teaching given her passion for working with children experienced at a younger age.  She trained in a Stockport school before moving to Ivy Bank building her career, including a deputy head secondment and SLE role.  She has been headteacher of Ivy Bank since 2018.

Sarah values hard work and commitment giving all our children best learning opportunities for future success and is a qualified mental health first aider. She believes that education is a partnership with families to provide a secure, exciting and positive environment in which all children can reach their full potential and become responsible and caring members of society.
